General Keyboard Shortcuts:
General keywords are like keyboard shortcuts, which are working individually or by the
combination of other keys called control keys like Ctrl, Alt, and Shift etc…
F2 : Rename the selected file or folder.
F4 : Display the address bar list in windows
explorer.
F6 : Select the url in the address bar of a
browser.
ALT : Shows the menu bar shortcut items
names.
Alt + F4 : Close the Active window.
Alt + Esc : Displays all the active windows one by
one.
Alt + Enter : Shows the Properties of the active
item.
Alt + Right Arrow : Navigate to Forward Direction in
browser.
Alt + Left Arrow : Navigate to Backward Direction in
browser.
Alt + Up Arrow : Moves backward in windows explorer.
Alt + Tab : Switch between the open applications

Ctrl + R : Refresh the active application.
Ctrl + Plus(+) : Zoom in the desktop or any active
application.

application.
Ctrl + Right Arrow : Move the cursor beginning to the next
word.
Ctrl + Left Arrow : Move the cursor beginning to the
previous word.
Ctrl + Down Arrow : Move the cursor to the beginning of the
next paragraph.
Ctrl + Up Arrow : Move the cursor to the beginning of the
previous paragraph.
Ctrl + Alt + Tab : Switch between open applications and wait
for user selection.
Ctrl + Scroll Wheel : Zoom in and zoom out in large number
of files.
Ctrl + Esc : Opens the start menu.
Shift + F10 : Displays the context menu of a
selected item.
Shift + Delete : Delete an Item Without moving to the
Recycle Bin.
